Well, it's between that and Mayhem's De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas.Metallattorneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05697604772912635416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13079355.post-41548959740024985002011-01-08T11:54:59.329-06:002011-01-08T11:54:59.329-06:00Well, Immortal just got squeezed out. I picked these albums because I wanted to discuss the first band in the scene (arguably Darkthrone), the best album of the scene (in my opinion, Nemesis Divina, although I haven't listened to all that many to be a true expert), and something a little different from the rest (for that I went with a symphonic Full Metal Attorneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04818204892818121018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13079355.post-42984999033724225432011-01-07T17:25:13.455-06:002011-01-07T17:25:13.455-06:00I, too, was wondering why Immortal got cut from th...I, too, was wondering why Immortal got cut from this post. I assumed avoiding Mayhem and Burzum came from not wanting to get too much into the activities surrounding the scene, but Immortal seems perfect for this post. Still, nothing wrong with any of those three choices either.Patricknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13079355.post-1362941463009993592011-01-07T16:39:23.176-06:002011-01-07T16:39:23.176-06:00Good post. They're definitely a bit campier than the others, resembling more of a black metal Kiss than the other groups. They are also the least connected to Satanism or Paganism, making up their own world to sing about.Metallattorneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05697604772912635416noreply@blogger.com
