Summary Judgment

The Sword were a lot better when they were a rocking sludge metal band. Now they're just a rock band, barely even a hard rock band, playing 70's and 80's inspired rock that's just sort of boring.

    I wanted to love this. Gave it so many spins. SO many more than perhaps it deserved. In the end? Tolerable.

    After listening to how hard the new Clutch record rocks, this album just slid from earshot. I still want it to be better.

    Even if they don't rock out, those Texans should have brought more interesting ideas to the table. Break up imminent?
