Has-been
Has-been: The Rolling Stones. Did anyone else have the same thought during the Superbowl XL half-time show?Great
Great: David Fokos. I've removed a photoblog that has been disappointing me as of late and added the website of David Fokos to my sidebar. There's not a whole lot there, but what he does have is amazing. He shoots minimalist landscapes with an antique camera that uses 8x10 film, develops the negatives, scans them into his computer, perfects them with Photoshop, and prints them on regular photo paper with lasers that expose it, and finally develops the paper using old-fashioned black-and-white developing chemicals.Amazing.
Kelly,
ReplyDeleteSorry for posting this here, but there will be no poker tonight.
A class got rescheduled to tonight from 6:30-8:30 so there won't be anyone at my house for poker :)...
OK. Thanks for letting me know.
ReplyDeleteDang - now that you actually said it out loud (or the Internet equivalent), yep, I think you're right. They did seem a bit tired to me . . . .
ReplyDeleteFirst time I saw them live was in 1984. They had a bit more get-up-and-go, but I think Keef looked about the same ;)
