New Poll: How Do You Get Most of Your Music?

There's a new poll up. To ensure I get a lot of responses, it's up for 28 days. As far as I know, the FBI is not checking your response to see whether to investigate you. I can't imagine they would, and it seems they've pretty much given up on going after people pirating for their own use. But then again I can't be sure. (Please refer to the disclaimer, which says that nothing on this site is legal advice. Answer at your own risk.)

  1. I answered, but here it is anyway. As of late, most of my music has been coming from online stores in a physical format. I prefer to have the physical product in hand so that I can flip through the liner notes and read the lyrics and look at the cover art. I do buy stuff from stores when I can find things, but it is easier to order online. Stores are nice for finding something completely randomly and making a blind buy, but if I am looking for something in particular, I go online. Not many places nearby carry the stuff I am looking for.

  2. Answered. I buy just about all of mine either from either brick and mortar shops, or else direct from the band online or at a show. I only download when bands give away their music for free
