Crops

Farmers in Nebraska are harvesting corn, but the high yields this year have forced them to store more corn than usual on the ground instead of the silos. These pictures were taken in Ong, Nebraska (pop ~ 50 or less) and Sedan, Nebraska (pop ~ 1) near Edgar, Nebraska (pop ~ 500) last Saturday.

Some even have to do the same with milo (a variety of sorghum). I would worry about this because it seems it could blow away easier, but I guess it would take quite a wind to lose a substantial amount.
